Cara Delevingne adds another campaign to her extensive modeling endorsements.
Rimmel London announced Delevingne as the new brand ambassador for its beauty brand.
“Cara Delevingne is the perfect embodiment of the trend-setting Rimmel brand and its edgy, streetwise personality,” said Johanna Bussinelli, chief marketing officer of Colour Cosmetics at Coty, in a statement.
“With her bold, modern look, fierce fashion sense, and confident stance that true beauty comes from within, Cara is globally admired for her individuality and self-expression. She will be a powerful addition to the brand, inspiring a new generation of women and showcasing a different facet of the eclectic London look.”
Delevingne said she is honored to join the Rimmel team. “It’s the first make-up brand I was introduced to as a teenager. I’m a London girl through and through and Rimmel truly captures and represents the city’s edgy, cosmopolitan beauty styles,” she said.
The London-based model joins other London models, Kate Moss and Georgia May Jagger, as an ambassador.
This is the second campaign Delevingne has inked in less than a month. She recently signed on to become the new face of Yves Saint Laurent’s, La Collection de Paris couture.
The 23-year-old model, who recently revealed she suffers from depression—resulting in a hiatus from the runway—will hold a press conference on Snapchat on April 15.
