Two days after rap star Remy Ma attacked Nicki Minaj in a scathing diss track, Minaj had something to say — and it wasn’t directed towards her arch nemesis.

Minaj posted a video onto her Instagram page, where she gave fans, affectionately known as Barbz, an update on her whereabouts.

“What’s up Barbz — It’s Nicki, I love you,” said the 34-year-old Minaj. “I am on the set of my video with Gucci Mane, and he had to leave a little bit early.”

She continued, “So it’s just me and the team holding it down for my babies.”

The video is for their new single “Make Love,” the song that appeared to take aim at Remy Ma.

“You see, silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap / You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques,” Minaj rapped.

In response to Minaj’s alleged attack, Remy Ma released a track titled “ShETHER” on Feb. 25, where she accused the “Pills N Potions” artist of using a ghostwriter.

“To be the queen of rap you gotta actually rap / The whole industry know that for you, it’s a wrap / No, to be queen of rap, you can’t have a ghostwriter,” spat Remy Ma.

Legendary DJ Funk Flex echoed similar sentiments on Twitter.

When asked if Minaj will respond with a great rebuttal, Flex wrote, “Not gonna happen!!! Hahaha! [She] both don’t write!!!!”

Minaj has yet to comment on Flex or Remy Ma’s accusations.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
