If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who Janaya Taylor is, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the Lutcher High School senior.

Taylor, an 18-year-old from Gramercy, Louisiana, caught Zendaya’s heart emoji eyes when she attended her prom in a replicate dress inspired by the Hollywood starlet’s Michael Kors gold sequined gown from the 2016 Met Gala.

“I came across Zendaya’s dress on Twitter and fell in love with it. Mainly the style,” Taylor told FYINTERTAINMENT.com.

Taylor entrusted New Orleans-based designer Korebelle Jeffreys to recreate the gown, which took less than a week to complete.

“When I placed the dress on, I knew it was perfect! I absolutely loved it!” exclaimed Taylor.

Wearing minimal jewelry as did Zendaya, Taylor wore the most important fashion accessory — confidence.

“I have always been confident, in everything I wear,” she said. “My dress was exactly what I wanted and that boosted my confidence level even more!”

She shared a side-by-side photo of the dresses on Twitter. “[Shoutout] to my seamstress,” she wrote, tagging Zendaya as her muse.

Taylor didn’t think the Spider-Man: Homecoming actress would ever see the photo, and when Zendaya noticed it in her mentions and retweeted her — with two heart-eyed emojis and a kissy face — she was in utter shock.

“I was driving and I thought it was a fake Twitter account, but when I saw it was really her, I immediately started screaming!” said Taylor.

She added, “My intentions were not to go viral!”

Yet she did.

Since Taylor uploaded the photo on March 27, it has garnered over 140 likes and 1200 retweets. Even this week, more than 7 days removed from prom, Twitter users are still complimenting the teenager on her fashion choice.

With graduation around the corner, Taylor is preparing for life after high school. She plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University and major in nursing.

Until then, sparkle on.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
