Phaedra Parks (Charles Sykes/Bravo)

Phaedra Parks will reportedly not return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to TMZ, Parks was given the ax after spreading rumors that fellow cast mate Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker intended to drug and rape Porsha Williams.

Sources told TMZ that Parks was informed back in April that she would not return to the franchise. Parks joined the cast in season three.

During Sunday’s explosive reunion finale, both viewers and castmates were stunned to learn that Parks was behind the rumor that Burrus and Tucker conspired to rape Williams.

The revelation caused the women to break down in tears. Burruss expressed her disgust and disappoint at her former friend’s behavior.

“She and I, it had escalated over the years, but to repeat and say I would drug somebody, it’s just a multiple level to that,” she said.

‘She, as someone who knows me, knows I don’t do drugs… but then as an attorney, why would you repeat that someone drugged somebody? You should understand that drugging somebody while they’re drinking and taking them home is rape. Y’all accused me of being a [expletive] rapist,’ Burruss wailed.

As Burruss aired her grievances, Parks sat stoically and denied any involvement. She said she just merely relayed information that was told to her, claims Williams vehemently refuted.

“I would never say that about somebody if you didn’t tell me that,” a sobbing Williams said.

“I didn’t say that to you,” Parks insisted. “I don’t remember saying that. I repeated it because I heard it.”

Williams then said: “You’ve got me out here looking like a god damn liar and that I’m not.”

Williams questioned the sincerity of hers and Park friendship, concluding that she perhaps was used as a “pawn.”

‘That whole time she must have lied and used me to hurt Kandi. I’m a pawn,” she said. “I would never lie like that.”

She continued, “I would never say something like that if I didn’t believe and trust my friend who told me in confidence that this was actually said. I just feel really bad for Kandi.”

Parks never took full responsibility for her actions but offered an apology.

“I made a rash decision. I’m sorry,” she said.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
