Amber Rose is known for her blonde buzz cut.
However, for a night on the town Saturday, Rose decided to ditch her signature look that has turned heads on the red carpets.
Rose, 33, sported a brunette chin-length wig to celebrate friend Paloma Ford’s birthday at Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood.
Rose’s appearance at the celebrity hot-spot comes on the heels of her making controversial comments about girls from Philadephia.
During an interview with Drink Champs, the feminist said girls from her South Philly neighborhood are not “traditionally attractive.”
“I don’t know how I could say this without sounding [expletive] up, but a lot of the people where I’m from aren’t traditionally attractive people,” Rose said in the June interview, per Philly.com
She continued, “For me, being blessed with beauty, as beautiful women know, is a blessing and a curse. To grow up in such an area and be blessed with beauty, it was very difficult for me.”
Following Rose’s comments, social media users thrashed the feminist for her viewpoint.

Amber Rose is gorgeous, but when she refers to herself as “traditionally attractive,” what is she placing emphasis on? Her racial ambiguity?

“I know that people really want me to be a superficial [expletive] but I’m just not that person,” the buxom model said last Thursday. “I find beauty in everyone … Unfortunately, it’s not easy doing interviews and always saying things the way you really want to articulate. I wasn’t saying that’s how I felt, I was saying that’s how people treated me.”
