It was reported that Harris was not wearing a helmet during the scene where she was shooting as Zazie Beetz’s character Domino.

Ryan Reynolds paid tribute to Harris on social media, stating that he and the entire cast were devastated over the tragedy.
“Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool,” Reynolds wrote in a message posted to his social media platforms.
“We’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated…but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loves ones must feel in this moment.”
He concluded his sentiments: “My heart pours out to them – along with each and every person she touched in this world.”
Harris, a native of Brooklyn, NY, spoke of her love for racing in a blog post. She admitted that it at times crashing crosses her mind but couldn’t allow fear to dictate the way she lives her life.
“Track riding and racing, teaches us to analyze why we crash so that we do NOT make the same mistake again, and basically learn from it,” she explained.
“In short when it comes to crashing, I’ve learned to accept that I am not the greatest rider that exists and that there is always something to learn when on track and pushing limits,” Harris wrote.
“Sometimes I’m going to eat it if I’m impatient. Everything takes time. Face your fears you never know what you can (be) missing out on.”
Harris is survived by her family.
