The brother of deceased singer Selena Quintanilla is wanted by Texas authorities.
According to the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office, Abraham Quintanilla has landed himself on the Top 10 Most Wanted August list in Corpus Christi on charges of contempt of court and nonpayment of child support.
The 53-year-old, who reportedly has eight children, deactivated or deleted all of his social media accounts after it was revealed the feds are looking for him.
The musician — also known as A.B. — was a founding member of his sister’s group Selena y Los Dinos. Following her death, A.B joined the music group Kumbia All Starz.
Selena was murdered at the age of 24 by her fan club’s president Yolanda Saldívar. Saldívar is serving a life sentence for the crime. She is eligible for parole in March 30, 2025 — which is the day before Selena was killed more than 20 years ago.
More than two decades after her death, fans of the ‘Queen of Tejano’ still flock to her gravesite and childhood home to pay tribute to the fallen star.
Authorities are asking that anyone with information on Quintanilla’s –or any of the fugitives — whereabouts to contact them.
