Blac Chyna is looking to pursue a career in music but she isn’t that talented.
A music insider told Page Six that Chyna — whose real name is Angela Renee White — doesn’t have any rapping skills but she’ll get a record deal because of her popularity.
“She’s met with four labels . . . [is] collaborating with very big artists, and there’s going to be big news coming soon,” a source confirmed to the publication.
The insider added, “Yes, she is trying to rap and no, [it’s] horrible. All the majors are listening, and, sadly, she will likely get a deal. If she lands it, somebody will be stupid enough to give her a seven-figure advance.”
As previously reported, Chyna was inspired by Nicki Minaj to take a stab at a rap career. Just last month, she was spotted at Capitol Records Building.
Besides, this isn’t the first time Chyna has switched careers as she was a former exotic dancer.
“The sky is the limit for Chyna. She is already gotten a huge come up, but the more she gets, the more she wants,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Chyna feels like she can do anything right now, all the doors are opening for her — it is crazy!”
The source added: “She just shot a music video with Nicki and people are even telling her to get into music too. She is started dipping her toes in because she has always loved singing and is now thinking about going for it for real. Nicki is encouraging her like crazy. Having that kind of weight behind her is huge. Chyna feels like anything is possible!”
If Chyna has any success with her hip-hop career, she’ll join Cardi B, another fellow dancer turned artist, who has found mainstream success.
Cardi B’s hit single, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” which is currently No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
