Tamar Braxton isn’t just quitting her solo music career — but is also ending her marriage to Vincent Herbert.

Braxton filed for divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles after nearly a decade of marriage to the music executive, reported TMZ. The pair has one son together, 4-year-old Logan Vincent.

The couple has hit a few rough patches within the last year.

In September, the 40-year-old songstress told Entertainment Tonight that she will no longer release any albums in a bid to save her marriage.

There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that,” she said.

“My husband and I work very close together and it’s really hard, you know?” Braxton added. “Not only do we work together, he is my baby daddy and, you know, we’ve been together forever. He’s my best friend. It’s a lot of things to discuss and argue about.”

Earlier this month, the Braxton-Herberts placed their marital home up for sale amid reports they are suffering from financial issues. Herbert was ordered to pay Sony $3.7 million after a cash advance.

It’s unclear if their reality show, “Tamar & Vince” on WEtv, will continue. Their newest season is set to premiere in November.

Braxton was fired from “The Real” in 2016, for reasons unbeknownst to her. Braxton’s former colleague Jeannie Mai recently announced she and her husband Freddy Harteis are heading for divorce.

“You know how much I love Freddy, my husband. He’s my life. And before we got married, I was very clear about the fact that I probably would not have kids, just because I’ve never felt that. And now, getting older, he definitely seems like he wants kids, and he actually came out and said that he wants children,” an emotional Mai told her co-hosts.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
