Cardi B did say all Nicki Minaj does is lie.

Less than 24 hours after Minaj tweeted that she turned down a collaboration deal with Steve Madden, the shoe retailer is stomping out that claim.

.@NICKIMINAJ you can’t turn down an offer that was never made. ,” read a tweet from the retailer’s official Twitter page.

Minaj’s tweet about nearly working with Steve Madden was a response to Cardi B, who stated she passed on an opportunity to work with retail company Diesel — Minaj stars in Diesel’s new anti-bullying campaign — because of her Fashion Nova partnership. Her capsule collection is set for release next month.

“That Diesel deal that you got? Yeah, that came to me first,” Cardi said in one of 10 series of Instagram clips addressing Minaj. “And I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands.”

Monday’s (Oct. 29) social media back-and-forth between the two rappers began after Minaj threatened to leak footage of their NYFW Harper’s Bazaar ICONS dinner brawl for $100,000. During the episode of Queen Radio show, Minaj also revealed Cardi B’s head knot came from punches thrown by her friend and reality star Rah Ali.

“Rah really, really beat Cardi’s ass bad,” Minaj said during Monday’s episode of her Beats 1 show. “Rah beat you so bad, I was mad at Rah. You went home and told people security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reasons.”

Shortly thereafter, Cardi B refuted Minaj’s recollection, stating there are “footages” of the incident that would prove otherwise.

“This my thing Nicki Minaj, right? How you saying I got ragged by Rah Ali when there is so many footages of that night, every single angle, and where am I getting ragged at?” Cardi said in one of 10 videos.

Cardi continued, “Why would I be here sitting and lying like ‘oh yeah I did this, I did that, knowing that the next day there’s gonna be so much footages of that same night?”

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
