50 Cent no longer wants to associate himself with Tekashi 6ix9ine after the rapper was arrested on racketeering and firearm charges earlier this week.
The rainbow-haired MC faces life in prison for a slew of charges, which include alleged involvement in shootings, armed robbery, and drug trafficking.
6ix9ine – whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez — apparently reached out to Fiddy for support, but given 50’s response, the 22-year-old rapper might have to look elsewhere.
“My son got picked up, I told him don’t call me,” 50 wrote in an Instagram post. “Shit. The Fed’s on you fool. Call ya momma. Don’t put the FBI on my phone.”
During an interview with The Breakfast Club just days before his arrest, 6ix9ine opened up about his close relationship with 50 Cent.
“He don’t pay his child support bills,” the rapper quipped, before stating 50 saw himself in the rap newcomer. Last month, 50 gifted the “Gunmo” rapper with a diamond chain.
However, it looks like Tekashi’s rap career — and 50 Cent bromance — is over.
Prosecutors allege Tekashi and four of his former associates terrorized New York City on several occasions, including a shooting outside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
“The defendant is quite violent,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Longyear during Tekashi’s arraignment Monday night.
Tekashi’s lawyer Lance Lazzaro, denies his involvement. However, a judge wasn’t convinced and denied bail for Tekashi 6ix9ine.
