Kim Porter went to bed early Wednesday night after feeling ill for the past few days.

The former model had dialed her physician hours prior informing them that she wasn’t feeling any better. After failed attempts to wake her the following morning, paramedics arrived at the Los Angeles home. Porter was pronounced dead on the scene. She was 47.

The exact cause of her death has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy and toxicology report shall be performed on Porter’s body in the coming days.

However, law enforcement sources told TMZ that Porter had either the flu or pneumonia, which was being treated with Saline and vitamins. Investigators are also “looking at a recent trip Kim took to Africa, to determine if she contracted a disease.”

Porter’s death stunned the entertainment world, including ex-boyfriend P. Diddy. The couple ended their relationship in 2007 but remained good friends.

A source close to the hip-hop mogul told People Thursday: “Diddy is devastated and shocked. He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work… they were still a family.”

Porter and Diddy share three children together — twin girls Jessie James and D’Lila, 11, and 20-year-old son Christian.

Porter also had a son, Quincy, from her relationship with R&B producer Al B. Sure!.

Singers Rihanna and Teyana Taylor expressed their condolences to the Porter and Combs family.

Wendy Williams, 50 Cent. and Nas also paid their respect to the deceased mother.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
