Westbrook hasn’t laced up for the Thunder in five games due to a sprained left ankle injury. There is no word on when he will rejoin his teammates.

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade hasn’t played since his wife, Gabrielle Union-Wade welcomed their first child two weeks ago.

Union-Wade, who has struggled with infertility, documented the heartbreak of failed IVF treatments in her memoir, We’re Going to Need More Wine.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

The couple revealed the name of their baby girl, whom they’ve named Kaavia James Union Wade.

The choice to add James as a middle name was thought to be an ode to his best friend and NBA superstar, LeBron James. However, it’s a tribute to Union-Wade’s uncle and godfather, James Francis Glass.
