Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a multiyear shoe endorsement deal with New Balance, according to league sources.

The Toronto Raptors star will serve as the face of New Balance basketball, after forgoing an contract extension with the Jordan Brand earlier this year.

Leonard, who is averaging 24.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game, has led the Raptors to the best record (18-4) in the league.

Top high school prospect Darius Bazley — who forgoed his collegiate career — signed a professional endorsement contract with New Balance. He currently interns for the brand and earns $1 million.

It is unknown how much Leonard, 27, will pocket in the deal with the re-emerging brand. However, until those details are released, have some laughs at the Defensive Player of the Year’s expense.
