Cardi B and Offset have split.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced the couple’s separation in an Instagram video early Wednesday morning, stating it is “nobody’s fault” that they are no longer together.
“So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners,” Cardi B explained in her video.
“He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.”
She continued, “I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. I don’t know. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father and yeah.”
Cardi B captioned the post, “There you go…peace and love.” Offset added his two cents by writing “Y’all won.”

Cardi B began dating the Migos rapper in late 2016. They married in a secret ceremony inside of the couple’s bedroom in September 2017 and subsequently welcomed a daughter in July of this year.
While the reason for the split is unknown, their relationship has been marred with cheating allegations by Offset. One of those alleged paramours was attacked by Cardi B and her entourage back in August.
Cardi was charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly orchestrating the beatdown of bartending sisters Baddie Gi and Jade inside of Queens Angels Strip Club. A no-show at her court appearance, Cardi was threatened with jail if she doesn’t appear Friday.
Shortly after Cardi B’s announcement, Offset revealed on Instagram Stories that he will be “dropping a song tomo.”
Perhaps, he will share more light into the couple’s discord.
