Lauren ‘LoLo’ Braxton died from a heart condition on Monday at the age of 24, according to TMZ. Lauren was the daughter of Michael Braxton Jr. – the singing sisters’ brother.
Medics were reportedly dispatched to their Maryland home at around noon where they found an unresponsive Lauren. She was ultimately pronounced dead on the scene.
Trina Braxton took to Instagram to mourn her loss, calling her niece an “angel.”
“God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven Lauren ‘LoLo’ Braxton,” she captioned her post.

Toni Braxton once spoke about her own battle with heart disease back in 2008. Toni, who was the spokesperson for the American Heart Association that year, told WebMD about her pericarditis diagnosis.
“When I was first told I had pericarditis, I said ‘peri – what?’ I had no idea what it was. I thought it was an older person’s disease,” she said.
Braxton, who was appearing in Broadway’s Aida at the time she saw her physician – urged women to prioritize their health and listen to their bodies.
“I’m the poster child for women and people all over the world,” said Braxton. “If it happened to me, it can happen to you. We can prevent it, we can fix it! Sometimes people get scared. They’ll say, ‘I don’t want to go to the doctor, they might find something.’ It’s OK because you can get it taken care of. That’s more important.”
She added, “A lot of times, we don’t have the time, but you’ve got to squeeze yourself in there some way. Women are so used to taking care of the household, the kids, and everything else, they always put themselves last.”
