A New Orleans woman says Lil Wayne is the father of her teenage son.
Keiotia Watson took to Facebook Monday to blast a “New Orleans rapper” — who she later identified as Lil’ Wayne — for playing an inactive role in their son’s life. She said the “Carter V” rapper only made two child support payments to avoid time in the slammer.
According to legal documents seen by TMZ, Watson gave birth to their son — who she named Dwayne, Weezy’s given name — in February of 2002.
Back in 2015, Watson went before a Lousiana judge to establish paternity and won. Lil’ Wayne was ordered to pay $5,000 per month, payments he has yet to make, TMZ reported on Wednesday.
However, sources close to Wayne said he was never served with legal documents nor was he aware that he fathered the teen. The source added that Wayne plans to take a paternity test and will assume all responsibility for the young man if proven to be the legal father.
Wayne has four children, including three sons and one daughter, with four different women.
One of those women is Toya Wright, who is expecting her second child with Robert “Red” Rushing, according to sources.
The Jasmine Brand was first to report the news.
“Toya and her family are delighted that she’s pregnant again!” a source told the publication on Sept. 19. “Toya is keeping out of the public spotlight right now because it’s starting to become obvious that she’s pregnant.”
After much speculation, Wright, 33, confirmed her impending pregnancy in an Instagram video alongside her daughter Reginae Carter.
In the short clip, the mother-daughter duo sits for a joint therapy session, with the 18-year-old teen revealing that Wright is expecting.
The camera then pans down to show Wright’s burgeoning baby bump.
