Yikes — don’t get too close to Cardi B and her burgeoning baby bump.

According to New York City police, members of Cardi’s entourage attacked a fan who looked to get an autograph from the hip-hop star following the Met Gala.

Per Daily News, the 33-year-old man approached Cardi outside of the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side at approximately 2 a.m., early Tuesday morning.

Folks in the “Invasion of Privacy” rapper’s crew reportedly felt the man was invading Cardi’s personal space and allegedly physically attacked him.

The alleged victim was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Cardi ascended to rap stardom after stints as an exotic dancer and reality TV star. With a number one single in “Bodak Yellow” under her belt, a certified gold debut album, and accolades from her musical peers, Cardi has found herself on everyone’s radar. However, the Bronx native isn’t keen on fame.

One negative thing is that, even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money,” she admitted in an interview with CR Fashion Book earlier this year. “I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me.”

When it was revealed that Cardi was expecting her first child with rapper Offset, many took to social media to voice their opinion on her decision to keep the baby at the rise of her career. While many felt a newborn would distract her from her goals, Cardi said a baby would only motivate her to work harder.

In an April interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, Cardi spoke candidly about impending motherhood.
“Like why she doing that in the height of her career, and it’s just like why can’t I have both? … I’m gonna say this in the most humblest way, I’m a millionaire. I’m established … The industry is never promised, but I know that if I make the right money move, I’m gonna always have money,” she told the New York City disc jockey.
“You know, I’m getting married. Everybody wants to joke around, ‘Oh you’re the fourth baby mama,’ this, this and that, but I’m getting married. And even though so, let’s say God forbid we don’t, my man is a great father to his kids, so I will never lose. I’m not having a baby with a deadbeat.”

There is no set date for the couple’s wedding.

Media But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness.

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
